Recueillir des observations des conditions météorologiques pour le Service météorologique national
Ce projet recueille des informations météorologiques auprès du public via une application mobile gratuite, mPING. N’importe qui peut utiliser l’application pour soumettre une observation météorologique de manière anonyme. Les données entrent ensuite dans une base de données au National Severe Storms Laboratory et sont affichées sur une carte accessible à tous. Les données mPING sont également utilisées pour améliorer les prévisions météorologiques.
